During these tough times we all need to stick together!
Decor Floor joined the project #ScutPentruSpitale and, through the help of Auchan Romania and Asociatia Zi de Bine, we managed to donate over 500 SQM PVC flooring for the arrangement of this first pre-hospital unit in Bucharest-Ilfov.
On Friday, 24th of April, the hospitalization center for non-critical Covid-19 patients was inaugurated in Chitila. A building belonging to Leroy Merlin was developed to the point where it became a center for receiving, sorting, accommodation and preliminary treatment of the patients infected with Coronavirus.
#ScutPentruSpitale arrived at Sala Polivalenta @Cluj too as a ray of hope and a temporary hospital was arranged inside the stadium for non-critical patients. Decor Floor donated homogeneous PVC, a special designed product for medical field.
“There are days when it’s important to stay inside, but not aside. We are dealing with an invisible enemy that can be defeated only if we build a shield around the ones that can protect us from it. This is exactly what this medical support unit does: it clears the crowded hospitals and takes off that immense pressure of the doctors’ shoulders offering at the same time, the same support to the non-critical patients. Why? Because every life matters and everyone deserve to be treated with the same attention and care.
We are proud to be part of this incredible solidarity movement and we are hopeful for what the future might hold.
