ARHI GRUP has realized the concept of the Ibis Styles Bucharest City Center Hotel located at 146 Știrbei Vodă Street. The overall space is inviting, with functionality and aesthetic in perfect harmony. It was designed as an urban retreat that offers a sense of calm and respite from the city’s restless streets, without losing the vibrancy of its unique urban context.
Hotels must meet the high expectations of a demanding clientele, being permanently under observation. This also applies to the floor coverings, that’s why the whole space must present itself impeccably at all times.
Even if sometimes this area is overlooked, the floor is a vital part of the whole process – so important that it is often referred to as the fifth wall.
The aim was to identify a single flooring design to be used across almost all areas, in order to mesh with the consecrate identity of Ibis Styles Hotels while still possessing an autonomous identity.
All 4820 SQM of long lasting Radici Vanity custom carpet is blending into a symphony of smooth elegance and neutral tones. These printed playful geometrical icons match the ones on the wall and highlight the personality of every room through delightful bright colors, creating a feeling of unity, coziness and well-being among the guests.
The corporate side of hotel offers a variety of spaces for collective learning. From semi-closed conference rooms to a generous auditorium for events, presentations, kickoffs or trainings, these areas are all about communication. The architects used the same carpet to ensure optimum spatial acoustics and to inspire creativity, freedom of choice and movement.
The objective of this project was to be able to develop a strong trusting relationship with the guests and leave a lasting impression through the power of great design. The hotel fosters a welcoming environment that empowers team members so they can provide the highest possible level of service for their clients.
