PICKTWO STUDIO designed the new SKIN MEDIA Offices as a modern industrial space that embodies authenticity, being equally impactful to guests and employees.
To achieve this style, the architects worked with raw materials such as wood, metal and concrete and focused on a neutral color palette with bold inserts which brought the space a rustic feel with a contemporany twist. Lighting can be a dominant element to set the mood, so the studio light fixtures with metal finishes were wisely chosen to offer the whole area an industrial-like ambiance. Also, all these generous glass walls not only give spacious look but also help bringing natural light into the story.
A bold and bespoke graffiti wall takes centre stage in the breakout area, beautifully cast across an exposed cement wall.
The floorplan has been conceived to replace visual barriers in order to provide an efficient environment in which employees are free to collaborate or work in the way they feel the most productive. For a unique point of difference in office interior scheme, the architects have chosen a Cradle to Cradle® Silver level certified carpet collection from Desso. Flores tiles capture the rich diversity of the planet’s flora, combining muted tones and expressive brights that bring life and energy into this artsy workspace.
The architects mixed LVT with carpet to create an exciting floor design that embraced the unexpected. With it’s stunning highly realistic wood look and its PUR+Mat varnish for easy cleaning, Gerflor Creation 55 Clic collection was the perfect match for this project.
Large plant zones as separators between open working areas and warm lighting have brought a flow to the interior and the idea of beyond the limits.
