AMA Design, winner of the Best Architectural Firm of the Year award at CIJ Gala Romania 2019, was tasked with the playfully designed offices of a video game company located in Timpuri Noi Square, Bucharest.
This workspace represents the reason why more offices should follow a different, bold approach to their design.
The functionality of each workstation area was maximized by the color palette of the flooring plan and by the striking transition pattern that adds movement to the floor, flowing effortlessly between two high functional carpet collections from Desso: Fuse & Fields.
The strategic use of color personifies the company’s culture, and the bright shades of the flooring plan highlights the black ceiling and furniture in the conference rooms.
Inspired by the beautiful irregularities found in nature, Harvest carpet collection from Desso allowed the architects to play with textures and material effects, and to materialize their vision into something tactile.
Delivering a playful and methodical space for programmers, innovators and strategists was the targeted experience sought by AMA Design for this project.
