The remarkable office for TRACTEBEL ENGIE @ EXPO BUSINESS PARK was designed to suit the needs required by the company’s rapid growth and ambitious goals for the future. Overall, the design aesthetic proposed makes use of colors and textures inspired from TRACTEBEL’s visual identity. As a result, the architects were able to create a relaxed and bright environment, providing occupants with an office that encourages and improves collaboration.
A custom wood ceiling was designed to add warmth and contrast to the balanced color scheme. The ceiling also adds an acoustic feature by absorbing unnecessary sounds around the reception area.
The four carpet tile collections provided by Bloq (Connection, Flow, Renegade and Tradition) merge together into one fluid flooring plan all across the informal zones, open space and closed meeting rooms. Carpet zoning defines soft boundaries between different spaces, suggests a convenient interior circulation and offers employees a comfortable workspace.
The final product designed by 1722 StudioLab is a high end, functional and friendly office solution ensuring longevity for Tractebel Engie.
