Located in the north-western part of Bucharest, The MARK building lives up to its name. The interior structure of the building is defined by cores, which provide many possibilities for the layout of the office spaces, in order to suit every need perfectly and also being cost and energy efficient.
Awarded with The Future Project trophy during the 13th Annual See Real Estate Awards Gala 2018, the building has a total of 15 floors were Decor Floor delivered and installed 19.500 sqm of CBI raised access floor.
Besides the raised access floor system, Decor Floor already signed contracts for floor finishes with the global law firm Dentons and the Infosys – global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting.
The CBI Panels are modular panels 600 x 600 x 23 mm, resting on a suitable support structure in steel. The core of the panels is made of calcium sulphate being fully encapsulated in steel. Providing access to the plenum directly or through the hatch, bare panels were the ideal solution for The Mark, giving the tenants the possibility to cover it with a wide range of floor finishes.
COST SAVING: The use of a raised access floor with self bearing gravity laid panels, allows the reduction of the total height of the building. In fact thanks to the combination of reduced space required for the MEP (Mechanical, Electric Plumber) service’s systems and the stringer-less support structure and the slim robust construction of the panels significantly reduces the void space to the point that it contributes greatly terms of savings in build cost.
